What Happened to January!

Good grief! Wasn't it just Thanksgiving? And here it is on the verge of February!

I feel like the Dr. Dave Bowman (the Keir Dullea part in 2001 Space Odyssey) after he hit the implant at Jupiter. Every time the camera shifted he was 20 years older.

On another subject entirely, what do you think about the "miserable failure" fix?

I have to hand it to Google. When they set their mind to do something they carry on until they get it done.

I have to say I really admire Anne Archer. First of all she is such a beautiful woman. And at the age of 60 or so she retains a freshness and sparkle that is pretty remarkable. But she's also a beautiful person as well. Here's a picture of her at the grand opening of the Church of Scientology of Berlin:

Mr. David Miscavige

Mr. David Miscavige is a truly remarkable leader, dedicated to accomplishing the aims of the Scientology religious movement and successfully doing it. Here is an interview of Mr. Miscavige that was done by the St. Petersburg Times that highlights this. www.sptimes.com/TampaBay/102598/scientologypart1.html

And what a world it is

I try to avoid the news.

But the other day I happened to land on a Google News page on the subject of sexual trafficking.

And I learned about "Sexual tourism."

Do you believe there is a huge industry in Thailand, Kenya and other third world countries where rich American perverts who would be jailed as sexual predators in the US can vent their psychoses on children who have been sold or abducted into slavery?

And this isn't just your one off occurance.

Don't you think we should do something to stop this?

Here's one story from a month ago:

A Bay Area man pleaded guilty in federal court in San Francisco Tuesday to engaging in a crime known as "sexual tourism" by having sex with a 13-year-old girl in Cambodia in February of this year.

Michael Koklich, 50, told U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker, "I traveled to a foreign country and had sex with a person under 18."

He said he paid money for the illegal sex.>> continued

And another from just yesterday here: >>

What do YOU think should be done to someone involved in this crime?
